Management responds very quickly and service requests are addressed in a timely manner. The property itself is very safe, gated garage, very clean, and residents are very courteous in regards to maintaining best social distancing practices at this time.

|Recommended: Yes311 move in inspection — 1. The floor near the balcony door is coming up.
2. The paint in the bathroom between the mirrors needs to be redone.
3. The dividers slide guides for the closet in the bedroom is not attached to the floor.
the ratings to the left are things I have not taken advantage of yet and is too soon to judge. I have rated what I can and can adjust at a later time. The fields are required so I could not leave them blank.
I will tell them it hasn't been long but I am happy so far.

|Recommended: YesOutstanding place to live and lovely management — Town29 has all the bells and whistles you want from an upscale apartment building. Large rooms, high-end appliances, and plenty of amenities common areas. The maintenance crew is on point and super nice. Last but not least - my favorite two people apart from my family in the building are Selam and Gina... They are an absolute joy to work with. They manage things like clockwork while having the utmost empathy for their tenants. You ladies rock

|Recommended: YesIts great, clean, great location and fun — Its like living the lifestyle you want to live except its affordable. The amenities and living in these types of community apartments doesn't even compare to living elsewhere. You can't beat the yoga classes, the overall cleanliness, modern facilities, the proximity to Lake Merritt, downtown Oakland, first friday's, Temescal etc etc. My partner and I love living here, we have a beautiful view of Downtown Oakland with a South facing apartment and we never need to use the heater, the insulation is great and despite the proximity to the highway to sound proofing on the windows are impeccable.

|Recommended: YesThis is how apartment life should be — Everything about our apartment is amazing. We rented sight unseen' based on the building and the other units we viewed. We didn't want to wait and lose the only 1 bedroom coming available. So we took the chance and were very pleasantly surprised, especially with the beautiful cathedral ceilings in our apartment.
This building is constructed well. All of the fixtures and materials are quality. The location is wonderful. And most importantly, the staff managing the building are so responsive, helpful, and incredibly nice. Everything was seamless from application to move in, and they helped what is normally a very stressful event, go as smooth as possible. I have always avoided apartment complexes because of poor quality of the apartment, management and horror stories from others.
Town 29 does things right.

|Recommended: YesNice building but noise from gym is major disturbance — Every weight that gets dropped on the floor of the gym sounds like it's happening in our living room. Very annoying and we're down the hall a few units, can't imagine how loud it is in adjacent units.
